The State Rooms at Warwick are incredible. Rich, opulent and everything you’d think life at a castle would be. The Castle is now owned by the Tussauds (of the wax museum fame) so throughout the state rooms are wax replicas of nobility and servants. Some of these are so life like it was kind of creepy.
Another fun day trip we did was when we went to Warwick Castle. A true medieval castle, another quintessential British monument. I’m a bit of a history buff and though I don’t know a ton about medieval times I do know William the Conquerer, who built the original part of this castle.
